Networking and collaboration are key factors in Valio’s research activities.
Valio R&D links up with European research institutes by participating in EU research programmes on appropriate topics, and also collaborates with foreign dairy industry companies. Furthermore, Valio’s researchers participate in the activities of Finnish and international expert organisations.
We research the health effects of Valio products under development and those already on the market, working together with Finnish and international research institutes and universities.
We receive partial research funding from TEKES projects, and are also involved in Academy of Finland projects.
