| Switzerland (Emmi) |
| Emmi was Valio’s first licensing partner. The agreement was signed in 2003, and lactose free low fat UHT milk was launched as a result. Lactose free milk with the taste of real milk was appreciated in the Swiss consumer base and sales continue to increase.

| Spain (Kaiku) |
| Kaiku in Spain licensed Valio Zero lactose™ technology in 2005. The Kaiku Sin Lactosa product range includes milks (fat free, low fat and full fat) as well as creams, yoghurts and cheeses. The products are proving very popular and at the Alimentaria Fair in Barcelona in March 2006 Kaiku was awarded the First Prize for Innovation in the Dairy Category.

| South Korea (Maeil Dairies) |
| Maeil Dairies in South Korea was the first company in Asia to license Valio Zero lactose™ technology. Maeil launched a lactose free, full fat milk in 2005 and added a new low fat variety in 2011. As 80% of Koreans are lactose intolerant, being able to enjoy lactose free milk and the goodness it contains was very welcome news for Maeil's customers.

| Norway (Tine) |
| Tine licensed Valio Zero lactose™ technology and launched lactose free, low fat milk in 2009. The product has been a success from the outset and the company has broadened its lactose free product range with creams and yoghurts.
