Valio Zero Lactose™ SMP lactose free skimmed milk powder is suitable for manufacturing a large variety of lactose free foods, from milk chocolate, ice cream and bakery products to ready meals, soups and sauces, and even pet foods. It’s also perfect for diet products given its very low fat and high protein concentrations.
Valio Zero Lactose™ SMP is produced by spray drying pasteurised skimmed milk. Valio’s patented lactose free process technology delivers a lactose free milk powder that is superior in taste to many other lactose free or low lactose milk based powders. At a lactose level of <0.1%, Valio Zero LactoseTM milk powders contain less lactose than other lactose free milk powders on the market at the moment.
Valio Zero Lactose™ SMP was selected for the Trends and Innovations Observatory during the SIAL 2008 exhibition in Paris.
