Valio viili is a traditional Finnish fermented milk product which was originally made in the summertime. Viili was known in Finland as early as the 19th century, and Valio dairies have been producing it since the beginning of the 1960s.
Unflavoured basic varieties come in different levels of fat content. Valio also offers a wide range of flavoured viili. Products flavoured with berries and fruit were launched in the early 1980s. Low lactose varieties are also available.
