Occupational health care and medical care provided by general practice doctors is made available to all Valio staff at the company's own occupational health care clinic, a private clinic, a Työterveys ry association clinic, or through a local public health centre.
The occupational health care system organises statutory health checks for Valio employees involved in tasks that carry a risk of a specific illness. Employees with an impairment are monitored and referred to rehabilitation as per need. Age group checks are organised for 30–50 year-olds in order to maintain working capacity and promote health.
