| Subsidiary in Latvia was established on February 2004 and it operates as a sales and marketing or-ganization, its target is to promote the sales of specific Valio brands and products. Valio's focus in Latvia is on value added and healthy product concepts and brands.

Valio Gefilus is the most significant of these brands, launched in 2003 and nowadays comprising full range of products including yoghurts, quark creams and flavored sourmilk drinks and daily dose drinks.
The Valio Kidius children's brand is also available in a full range including yoghurts, drinkable yo-ghurts, drinks and puddings (www.valio.lv/kidius).
Valio Alma brand for time-being is present in Latvia only in yoghurt, cheese and cottage cheese cate-gories.
Valio Zero Lactose milk was launched in November 2007 and brand range will be expanded in spring 2008 (www.valio.lv/zerolactose).
Valio sells as well selected assortment of Valio cheeses: Valio Oltermanni, Valio Aura, Valio Atleet, Valio Polar and Valio Emmental.
