Networking and co-operation are key factors in Valio research activities. We study the health effects of products under development and those already on the market, working with Finnish and international research institutes and universities.
Partial project funding can be granted within Finnish National Technology Agency (TEKES) projects, and Valio is also involved in projects run by the Academy of Finland.
Valio R&D is linked to European research institutes through participation in appropriate EU research programmes, and co-operates with dairy industry companies abroad. Valio researchers also participate in the activities of Finnish and international expert organisations.
